From 14 July: our website joins be.brussels

Update 11 July

The website launch scheduled for Monday is on target!

The technical changeover is scheduled to take place between 14 July and 16 July. During this period, the following may occur :

  • The site may be temporarily unavailable or experience slowdowns.
  • The monitoring of certain files (processing, updating, consultation) could be momentarily impacted: temporary difficulties in submitting a new file via a web form or in completing a file in progress on the basis of a communicated URL.

We will do our utmost to limit disruption and ensure that service continuity is as smooth as possible.

What you can do

  • Postpone for a few days the follow-up of files requiring the use of a form hosted on the website
  • Assist with urgent procedures using traditional telephone/email exchanges without going through the website
  • If you need help or have any problems, you can contact our support team at web@fire.brussels

From 14 July: our website joins be.brussels

From 14 July 2025, the Brussels Fire Brigade website will be integrated into the Brussels-Capital Region website: be.brussels.

This means: a single access point for all information on fire prevention, safety and our services. This transition is part of the Brussels Region's web strategy, which aims to simplify and make more accessible online information and administrative procedures - for citizens, professionals and institutions.

What will change?

Users will be automatically redirected to our new page on be.brussels, in the ‘Safety and Prevention’ section, or to the administrative page of the Brussels Fire Brigade.

Here you will find:

  • All the information you need on fire prevention and safety tips
  • Our administrative procedures (certificates, permit applications, notices, etc.)
  • The ‘What to do after an incident’ guide
  • Useful emergency numbers and prevention advice
  • Educational material for schools
  • Contact and appointment forms
  • Plus: our latest news, job vacancies, information on transparency, and much more.

What happens to our current website?

📌 Our current URL pompiers.brussels remains active and will automatically redirect to the corresponding pages on the be.brussels website.
